河南省普通高校高水平运动队发展研究

从河南省普通高校高水平运动队发展现状来看,河南省普通高校高水平运动队存在运动队规模相对较小、教练水平有待提高、管理机制不完善、训练条件不足以及比赛偏少等制约因素。因此,要不断加强教练员的培训及引进工作,完善教练员的激励机制、运动员的管理体制和竞赛机制,积极改善训练条件,从而促进普通高校高水平运动队的健康发展。     

农村大学生农转非土地流转潜力研究

研究目的:测算农村大学生农转非土地流转潜力。研究方法:明确农村大学生对原土地承包经营权的拥有性,通过收集相关数据资料,建立农村大学生农地流转潜力测算公式,测算出1999—2007年历年流转潜力。研究结果:经测算,自1999年高校扩招到2007年,农村大学生农转非土地流转潜力为371.35万hm2,占全国耕地面积的3.05%。研究结论:在现行国家鼓励土地流转、实现规模经营的大政方针下,通过明确农村大学生土地承包经营权,搭建农村大学生土地流转平台和途径,促进大学生就业,实现农村大学生土地承包经营权在市场上自由流转,对于土地资源的优化配置、实现土地的规模化经营具有重要作用。

Technological change is altering the way educators deliver subject content. The phenomenal growth and widespread acceptance of the Internet has seen the creation of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) in higher education. For the ease of integration of VLEs in higher education, software companies have provided products such as WebCT and Blackboard. From a pedagogical perspective, new technologies must be evaluated in an effort to establish whether their introduction has had a beneficial impact on learning outcomes. To this end, this investigation examines the attitudes of undergraduate accounting students in relation to a number of design features and attributes of WebCT (e.g. bulletin boards, on-line assessment and chat room) as a VLE. Responses from 292 on-campus undergraduate students provided data which associates four factors with improved student motivation. This study found that student satisfaction with the use of a VLE is significantly associated with the provision of: lecture notes, bulletin board, on-line assessment and other tools (chat and video summaries). The diagrammatic representation of the variables identified in this study provides a useful reference point for those educators contemplating the implementation of a VLE.

This study investigated the interaction between proficiency in both mathematics and English on students' performance in the first-year level financial accounting course, The data were gathered on the results of first-year accounting major students at the recently established Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and analysed using regression analysis. The findings showed that a higher degree of proficiency in mathematics was associated with a higher level of performance in the financial accounting course for students who were more competent in English.     

‘Free actors’ and organizations: critical remarks about the new career literature,based on French insights

What is the reality of contemporary careers? Have individuals become masters of their professional destiny? While the ‘new career literature’ puts forward the figure of an individual free to invent his/her career (the ‘free actor model’), this article shows that the changes purported to affect careers are less radical than they seem. Despite a weakening of environments, discriminating career mechanisms are still imposed on cadres, at least in France. Because individuals do not always have the means or the will to escape those mechanisms, ‘external clues’ continue to mark careers more than the new career literature supposes. To account for the realities observed in France, this paper proposes a specific view on careers, which highlights why career rules still exist in the country.
